I’m a writer based in Tokyo, traveling slowly and on a budget. I’m more interested in people, stories, and everyday life than tourist checklists.

I’m independent, tidy, and respectful. I explore on my own during the day and value good conversations, shared meals, or just a calm space in the evening. I enjoy listening as much as talking, and I believe everyone has a story worth hearing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m Couchsurfing because I want to experience places through people, not hotels. I’m traveling slowly in Japan with a limited budget, and Couchsurfing allows me to meet locals, exchange stories, and understand daily life beyond the surface.

I don’t see this as free accommodation — I see it as cultural exchange. I’m happy to spend time together if you’d like, and also completely fine being independent and giving you space. More than anything, I value trust, respect, and good conversation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’m writing a seven-book epic urban fantasy series inspired by the mythology of my country, set in a modern world. So far, I’ve written three volumes. It’s a long-term project that mixes ancient myths with contemporary life, and it has taught me a lot about patience, persistence, and trusting a story that’s bigger than one book.

I enjoy teaching and learning about storytelling, math, and geometry, as well as Persian food and mythology.
