ABOUT ME

I left France in April 2008 with no plan, no timing, only enough money and a ticket to India. The first ten month, I traveled most of time with Olivier, through Nepal and Himalayan india; then Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos. Our tricks is to use only original transports ; any kind of hitchhiking in nepal, motobike in India, trucks and foot in Ladack, totally freestyle in Sumatra (no bag during 1 month)or paddling a rustic wood boat in Lao (300 km of Nam Ou river)... We make our trip always on a different ways, rejecting the monotony, searching every time the most... I also like to take my time, make my life somewhere if I feel like something special , like Srinagar (Cachemire), Phnom Penh (Cambodia) or Bangkok (Thailand)where I stayed one month each. My traveling sense is to make no plan and just follow feeling, recommandation or meetings.

Now I m in Australia, the idea is to make a long road trip around Australia (by hithhiking, but my last foray was a big bid to cross the fucking 2000 km of No Man s land between West and Adelaide, yes... I waited no less than 24h at a petrol station, and nothing...: my real challenge would be to continue by bicycle, it s a project !) , become rich with fruit (or mine picking... argh crazy idea, i keep in my mind!).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I use couchsurfing because I travel in a cheap way... Especially now in Australia, I pay only for my consumption, nothing to move nothing to eat... the second reason, and not the least, when I arrive in a city, couchsurfing give the feeling to be more integrated, to have my own house, my own kitchen, my own bed room, waouu merci Paul & Miki!! (ok..., it depend on the degree of coolitude of my host)
