CURRENT MISSION
Trying to be in the moment, taking life as it comes to me
ABOUT ME
I'm the kind of guy who has wanted to travel since I could walk. Not until 2009 have I really gotten to experience any of that. If it has anything to do with spontaneous plans I'm there. Anything nature inclined will get me out of any job or homework I might have. Partying whenever there is a good party or bar is way too good to pass up.

PHILOSOPHY
I've always been very open minded for anything new and exciting. I've always thought that any friendship formed on being yourself is the only true kind of friendship there is. I'm aware that this is cliche as chiches, but I FUCKING MEAN IT!!!! I live to learn and have fun while making friends the whole way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've really enjoyed hosting people since I've joined. If you still haven't enjoyed yourself in some way by the first day I may have to make you my new and now legendary french toast, stir fry, or chicken parmesan. It may just blow your mind. With that said, if you don't come stay for at least a while I may have to come find you so watch out yo.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first real exposure to couch surfing was a trip in Thailand where I made as many friends as I did memories. Since then I've been trying to return the favor by hosting at my apartment and looking people up while on the road. I knew that this site was definitely about connecting more then just places to sleep. After my friend made an account, I knew I wanted to share the extra space in my place to some more cool people.
Interests
Two words describe me best; gym rat. I'm very health conscious and love working out. After living in China, I've had no problem keeping an even healthier diet. I've always had a passion for running and swimming. During college I've gotten myself involved with doing triathlons. I also love reading and am sure to keep a book in my bag with me at all times. Sometimes a good movie with friends is better than a night out complete with a hangover. However, I do know how to have a good time when the opportunities are there, especially if I'm hosting.

Music, Movies, and Books
My top movies are "Shawshenk Redemption", "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and "Batman Rises" There are probably a dozen others that are up there too. I love Third Eye Blind, Zero7, and Guster when it comes to music. I'm trying to teach myself guitar but I'm a total noob so far. Hooray for the major cords.
Love music from across the pond, but I gotta rep my America. I'm always willing to get exposed to new music, even a little country. Anything mentioned in your itunes about a tractor, God and/or Jesus, or a beer belly will get you kicked out. Nothing Personal.
I think The best books at the top of the list now are "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde and the Horatio Hornblower series by C.S Forrester. I'm on a mission to hit all the classics I can think of.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My trip to Thailand was probably the best thing I've ever done. I got to ride bareback on an elephant, go trekking through the jungle, and go snorkeling at a coral reef. All I can say is I'm hooked on travel as a lifestyle not a fad.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach Biology so I will admit I have a soft spot for BBC specials. I've already got about 20 hours of Nature doc sets since Chinese DVDs are super cheap. I may get pretty riled up if you ask to watch one.
