I am traveling with my fiance (arthur parker) in ireland for our honeymoon. Yes before the wedding :) it was the only chance we would have. The wedding is October 15 2015. I am currently attending college to get my degree in English education. While doing this I work as a bartender/manager at a local sports bar. My fiance is a professional mma fighter and teaches karate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love to travel but being so young and in school have little money. We thought this would be a great way to travel cheap while having to opportunity to experience towns through a locals perspective.

Interests

We love reading, traveling, and fitness. I do a little bit of painting on the side but by no means am good. Art is a "nerd" at heart (but who isn't at something?) He loves history along with all the comics.

Traditional irish food and anything with a spicy kick are our go to when it comes to meal choice. But we are not picky eaters and love trying new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Up until art and I got engaged I was a single mom. I had my daughter at 17 years old. After her birth I graduated top of my class and continued my education. I maintained a 3.5 GPA worked anywhere from 20-40+ hours a week and raised a happy healthy little girl all on my own.

Art is an amazing mma fighter. He has been doing it since the age of 12 when he started karate. Ever since he has competed in many cage fights and recently won his first pro boxing match. His dream is to open his own school one day.
