I'm a Canadian lady in her late-twenties, just trying to live life the best way she can. I'm from a small island off the coast of BC, and heading back to New Zealand to finish my Working Holiday Visa.
I'm most drawn to the outdoors, as I love to hike, camp, swim, etc. Otherwise I LOVE to dance, write, read, and have a good laugh :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I had been living abroad for 1 year in Australia and a few months in New Zealand, attempting to push myself outside my comfort zone and gain as much experience as I can along the way :) I'm very intrigued to meet others, share stories, experiences, etc. But of course, keep the body warm at night! Nothing says new friend like a couch and a roof overhead ;)
Couchsurfing seems like the best place to start since most people are here to trust each other, and maybe even learn from each other. That's the type of community I'd like to be apart of.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

After high school, my best friend and I bought a "soccer-mom" van and drove it from BC to Newfoundland in Canada, down through Illinois into Chicago, then all the way westard until we got back into BC. We had little to no planning, just a strong temptation to hit the road on our own for the first time, and go as far as we could. We managed to sleep in that small space for 2 months, and we had the time of our lives blasting rock n'roll, washing our clothes in parks, freezing in the mountains, getting tattoos, and skinny dipping in the Atlantic Sea. I'll never regret that trip - it was pure freedom.

I'm always happy to share music, stories, and if you're interested...I'm learning how to knit so I can teach basics :)
I'm also always keen for a walk/hike so if you have dogs who need walking, I'm your girl.
