Hi! I'm from Cambridge in the UK, and I'm currently travelling round the German speaking area and Scandinavia for a couple of months to work on my languages, meet up with old friends and make new ones.

Aside from languages, I've also been vegan for three and a half years, and I love trying out new recipes. I've also recently started running and swimming, and I love going on walks. Put me in a forest with some mountains and a lake/river and I’ll be happy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was getting really bored of travelling to different places on my own, staying in a lonely hostel room, and spending most of my time walking round the city with nothing to do and no one to talk to. This is why I joined Couchsurfing - I want travelling to become a much more personal experience where I can meet new people and gain an insight into a place that I might not have otherwise had.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy Eurovision, will read almost anything if it sounds interesting enough (saying that, my favourite book is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak), and my movie taste is pretty basic, but some of my favourites include The Incredibles and Das Tagebuch der Anne Frank.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm always up for a language exchange, and I'd be more than happy to try and cook you a nice vegan meal! ("Try" being the operative word).
