About Me

HI! I love animals and plants enough to want to pack a backpack and follow them around, (or in the case of plants, crouch down for hours and measure their densities). I work seasonal jobs in the wilderness that result in me moving around every few months. Like my jobs, I pick up hobbies short-term until I get bored or plateau. I'm always looking for a juggling partner. I don't believe in awkward silences. I believe in the merit of common ground with everyone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way to travel is on a personal basis. Leaving the hotel room and walking with a local will let you see a place better. Currently, I'm looking for a place(s) to stay while on a temporary job.

Interests

Ecological stability, wilderness survival, independence, macrame, gardening, cooking, novice hula hooping and juggling, TRAVELING (duh). Foosball is fun, but is it an interest? Beer tasting. Making friends (awww).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music varies a bit, though I am hopeless in "discovering" it myself. String the genres together from rock, bluegrass, blues/jazz(non-smooth), indie, recently hiphop. Blind pilot and Mofro are a favorite, and I grew up on Rusted Root.

Favorite movies are Gladiator, despite the british accents, Matilda, Blues Brothers, Airplane.

Favorite books are written by Barbara Kingsolver, like The Poisonwood Bible and High Tides in Tucsan

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel like this section calls for some humanitarian bullshit, but, eh? I once rode a horse through Lesotho. That was pretty amazing...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you how to juggle. Unless you are already good at it, then I can't. I sometimes enjoy cooking, and would be happy to cook for guests something not terrible.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lesotho, Mexico, Mozambique, Netherlands, South Africa, Swaziland, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Swaziland
