About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See as much of Europe in the short time that I am studying here.

ABOUT ME

I am a movie freak. I enjoy photography, even though I'm not nearly as good as I would like to be. I'm open-minded and enjoy meeting new people and listening to all the stories they have to tell about their lives.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to look at everything (even bad things) as an experience and I try to figure what I can learn from it. I think that everything that happens in life is an adventure and is there to teach you something about yourself or other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am an exchange student, so unfortunately I don't have the ability to have anyone stay with me, but I am looking to surf throughout Europe and meet new people in all the towns I visit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, so good. I had a great time couch surfing through Germany in May.

Interests

Photography. Movies. Travel. History. Meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books, anything written by Jodi Picoult. Movies, anything that doesn't put me to sleep. Music, seriously anything, absolutely no preference.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to live in New Orleans, LA and I think that is the most amazing thing I have ever done. It's such a vibrant city with so much culture and history that you will never find anywhere else in the US. The most amazing thing I have experienced there was by far when the Saints won the Super Bowl last year. It was the first time they've ever been to the Super Bowl in franchise history and it meant so much to the entire city that just five years ago was completely destroyed and underwater.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd really like to learn different languages, but that's not really the US' school system's strong-suit. I have had a lot of interesting experiences, I just can't really think of them now. I especially have a lot of stories about two very unique and diverse areas of the US that I have lived, Arizona and New Orleans, because one is a desert and the other is the most unique place in the US (in my opinion). :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Netherlands, United States
