a BBC, Belgian Born Chinese ^^

Born in Bruges, grew up in Ostend, studying in Leuven, origin in Shanghai and have lived for half year in Beijing.

Open minded and adventure addicted girl.
I collect experience in all sorts of sizes and shapes.
Don't like big cities all that much. Give me nature, animals and adventure and I'm one happy girl.

PHILOSOPHY

One thing I have learned from my Costa Rican friend: Pura Vida, which basicly means enjoy life!
24 hours will pass, ether you do it with tears or with a smile. Live the day!

One of my own philosophic inventions: Be true to yourself. Don't change who you are for the opinion of the crowd, there are enough others but only one you. Let's keep it that way! In the end the only one who you have to answer to is yourself so be true to yourself!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being on an masters exchange program has opened my eyes to all different kinds of cultures, habbits, thoughts, visions,... Different people coming from different places, what a pleasure to discover them all!

So by being part of this community I hope to discover more of the world and at the same time help others to do the same!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

You can see most of my experiences in my CS photo folder. I have had quite some already and every one of them was totally worth it. I made some good friends too by CS and most of all, I've learned so much by meeting all these different kind of peoples. Sharing stories, philosophies, ... just realizing that the world is just so small in its enormousness.

Interests

Sports! all kind of sports. Some of the sports I've done seriously: badminton, basketball, horse riding, running, ping pong, kungfu, snowboarding... and others more in recreative way such as trampoline, judo, swimming, ice skating, spinning poi, ... I hope to add more to this list!
Animals, love them in all sizes and colors. I had/have a dog, cat, (love)birds, guinea pigs, chinchilla's, fish
Nature: A mountain view on a chill summer night with a sunset in the background ... no building or city can ever top that!
Photography, I am just an amateur, but I like it and that's what matters the most.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am super curious about all kind of stuffs, like to learn new things all the time, especially all kinds of sports or other craftmanships but also phylosophical, phsycological brain teasers.
I can teach almost everything you have read on the profile like horseriding, languages, kungfu,...
Knowledge is the only thing that grows by sharing.
