Hey there, Couchsurfing friends!

I’ve been part of this awesome community for a while, and let me tell you, I’ve met some incredible people along the way! But back when I first joined, I was searching for something more. I thought I’d find it in socializing, romance, and just “living the life.” But, spoiler alert—I wasn’t truly satisfied.

I didn’t have any boundaries, so I was out clubbing, drinking, and hanging out a lot. I wasn’t working at the time, just going with the flow and hoping happiness would magically show up. I had big dreams, but they stayed locked in my mind—I’d even tell people I’d achieved things I hadn’t. Yikes, right? Let’s just say I wasn’t exactly living my best, most honest life.

Then everything changed when I met Jesus. I found true purpose, and I started working on myself from the inside out. My whole outlook on life and even Couchsurfing has shifted. Now, I’m here to share something much deeper—God’s existence and how He’s totally transformed my life.

There’s a movement of change happening globally, with popular artists like Justin Bieber and Daddy Yankee embracing Christ plus Denzel Washington. It’s inspiring to see how many people are finding new purpose and direction. I’ve moved away from chasing money and fame, focusing instead on helping others live a purposeful life.

I used to be skeptical about the Bible too, but now, I’m living proof of how real God’s work is. He’s helped me overcome years of addiction—alcohol, drugs, gambling, you name it. I’ve learned that true love, the kind we all search for, starts with God. And guess what? You don’t need to jet around the world to find it. God offers it freely, right where you are!

As the Bible says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17). That’s exactly what happened to me!
