really want to travel the world and see what else there is out there.. i have lived in australia my whole life and never seen snow or anything so id like to do something extreme and just go wherever there are good people having a fun time.

Hi , I'm glen. An aussie backpacker / traveller setting out to see the world and meet some great people along the way who enjoy living life and dont get hung up on things along the way.
There is so much to do and see , make every minute count doing something you enjoy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am away travelling around the world for the second time again so I cant participate on a host level , but im always keen to catch up for a coffee or beer and hang out in any city I may find myself in !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

so far iv met a few people from CS and lucky to have surfed a couch in china with a great girl from texas. Really looking forward to meeting more CS'ers now im back from my travels..I had some great experiences with different CS'ers in Thailand while I was living there , I wasnt really hosting but stil got the opportunity to help a few out with a spare couch in my apartment.. i'd say its been a pretty good experience.

Interests

love to travel , go out motorbike riding and camping.. also surfing, hiking, drinking, fishing and generally being outside or also with some nice wines with a fire going.

Music, Movies, and Books

shantaram is my favourite book and love the way its written and how it makes me remember certain things.

shawshank redemption and braveheart are powerful movies for me , usual suspects is great for a twist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

summer solstice at stonehenge this year.. very rewarding experience.climbed Ben Nevis (britains tallest peak) sitting and watching the sun shine off Mont Blanccatching the trans siberian train from St Petersburg (russia) to Beijing (China) and then onwards to Chengdu and Guilin. A lot of miles !!!Recently survived a head on motorbike accident .. dont try this at home !

im skilled practically.. generally i can build / fix most things given the proper time and motivation.
id' love to learn to cook by a professional, and to make easy healthy food.
Id also love to learn more guitar and music in general, i listen to music constantly.. i dont like silence.
