Overview
About Me
I was born in Algeria, from a Malagasy tailor family. I grew up in Algeria, Germany and Madagascar. I travelled a lot, as a kid, for my studies or for my work.
I love being in an international ambiance. I hate frontiers! :) between people as well as in people's mind.
I used to be a part of the corporate world and work as a financier/auditor/controller. I dropped everything to start a fashion company. So now I can sew, I can design, I can do fashion sketches, I got to fund one of the hypest Fashion concept store in Paris and I am writing a book about writing business plans in fashion.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Actually I am very new at this. Having launched my company, I am on a budget and yet, I have a few prospects to visit worldwide. So friends suggested I connect with hosts on CS and they thought I would love the concept, since I am fond of networking with international people. So here I am.
Interests
Music (in a past time, I used to play the piano with the Philharmonic orchestra of Madagascar and I was in a choir. I still sing sometimes, mostly jazz standards. And by the way, I am also an official singer/songwriter :))
Reading. These last years, I ended up reading mostly self improvement books.
Watching sitcoms (my favourite are Gossip girl, Sex & the City, The Big bang theory...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well honestly I am pretty proud of having dropped everything for my passion
Teach, Learn, Share
I am very good at boosting people to reach their goals, I used it for my own sake. I know a lot about personal development/self improvement. I attended the 2015 Tony Robbins Unleash your Power Within seminar in London and it helped me a lot to find the courage to jump into uncertainty and start my own business. Plus I come from a rather fortunate family but having lost everything, I had to learn to live without not much, which taught me a lot about life, values!
I would love to share more of that with people
