About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel, meeting new people and having fun

ABOUT ME

I love playing music, talking and learning new things, and working out in ways that nature intended (running, jumping, climbing)

I'm part of a capoeira group. It's awesome. I love it. I live with three of my friends in Boston. We have a great place with a pool and a pretty sweet couch. Right now I am traveling around Brazil, couchsurfing in Belo Horizonte.

PHILOSOPHY

I measure my life in bits of 'life experience', anything can be a life experience but I prefer new and adventurous ones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined couchsurfing a while back and have met some of the most amazing people ever. I love traveling and, when I travel, my goal is always to get as much as an authentic cultural experience as possible - I try to stay as far away from hotels and resorts as possible. I love that communities like CS exist and cannot wait to get to know you all.

In Boston, I have a pretty nice apartment with a pool and hot tub (in the summer). My roommates and I frequently have friends come over and crash on our couch and I'd love to give back to the community and offer a place to stay for anyone who happens through the area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive hosted people in my home city of Boston, MA. And Ive been traveling around Brazil for over 10 days now meeting the amazing people who welcome me into their lives.

Interests

I'm part of a capoeira team in Boston, Sinha Capoeira. I have been training for 3 years and love performing with all my amazing teammates.

I've played percussion since I was ten and picked up guitar when I went to college. I am rarely happier than when I'm jamming with musicians or singing ..as best I can.

But my favorite thing to do is meet new people, talk, be friendly, and hopefully learn something new in the process.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a young man helping an old lady across the street.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to teach you guitar. I can take you to a capoeira class or go running or to the gym. I used to be a personal trainer so I can share that knowledge. I can teach you how to play berimbau. I can teach you how to do a backflip : )

I would love to learn more portuguese, cool sports, games, how to cook, about your culture, about you.
