Graduate Student in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineer by training.

I read a lot, and exercise a lot when I'm not in one of my slack-a-thons.

I am bad with money, but good with making impulsive decisions (these are obviously related).

I like having intense conversations about stuff (if you buy me beer or even better, scotch).

I ride a sweet motorcycle and drive a shiny car, but couldn't afford either (if someone had not invented loans and credit cards).

PHILOSOPHY

A world devoid of ALL boundaries: ethnic, racial, cultural, national and political! I would also love for there to be no geographical boundaries.. but there's only so much you can wish for.

Listing all my favorite music will take a lot of effort, but I'm lazy right now, so I'll save that for later. Let me summarize rather inefficiently by saying that I love music from genres so far apart in the spectrum of musical genres (that I just invented) that they would be separated by a 100 EHz. (If you could follow that, you will likely get along with me. You probably would even otherwise!)

Movies and TV: Varies by mood, but I generally don't like slow drama. Love sci-fi and action!

Books: I've been getting into science non-fiction a lot lately. Harry Potter geek. Good science fiction always blows me away. History non-fiction getting into the details of important past events.

I can teach: Boxing (I was/am an amateur boxer), Cricket (have played competitively), Conditioning and fitness in general, a little bit of Silambam (a dravidian martial art from Tamil Nadu, India), and Chemistry/Math (up to college level)
