Overview
About Me
I work and live in Bratislava, where I work as a software developer. I lived for some time in the USA as you can see from my photos, but nowadays I usually only travel around Europe. I'd like to show you around Bratislava or at least give you some tips if I don't have more time for you.
We can go for a walk, take some pics, end up at a bar and maybe even visit some club, although I don't know many of those :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started as a traveler and of course, I wanted to stay at someone's place to save expenses, but also to get great advice from the locals. I met a few nice people here and nowadays I want to help tourists to get the most from my city. Also, host when possible :)
Interests
My most recent hobby is beer homebrewing, so you might even get lucky when I have some beer at home :) Besides that, I like photography, although recently I was not shooting as often as I'd like. Sometimes I play guitar, but I'm still learning so it's not a very regular activity for me.
I also go to the gym at least 3 times a week and I plan to do more yoga as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
MOVIES
- mostly dramas, sci-fi or action movies. For example, my favorites are Forest Gump, Green Mile, The Godfather, Interstellar, Inception, Guardians of the Galaxy., The Lord of the Rings.
BOOKS
I don't read as much nowadays and I know I should read more. I like books from John Irving (Ciderhouse Rules is the best), To Kill a Mocking Bird, 1984, Brave New World, The Little Prince, The Witcher, and many others.
MUSIC
Mostly I don't like modern pop music and I learn about good new music only through my friends. Usually, I just stick with my classics - AC/DC, Metallica, Guns'n'Roses, Queen, Ghost.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For some people, this will mean nothing, for me it was amazing because I felt amazing. I hiked to the summit of Mt. Dana in Yosemite (13 061′/3981m) which is a record elevation for me. I know it's not Mt. Everest, but it means a lot for me :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I could teach you the Slovak language, but why would you learn it? :D
I can tell you a lot about the beer brewing process and give you some samples too. Otherwise, we can talk about photography and even attempt to do some portraits if you want or we can walk around the city and take some cool pics.
I also like to cooking when there's enough time, but I'd be more than happy if you show me some of your recipes.
