Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm living and working temporary in Pompei, Italy and traveling often on business purposes. I'm happy to meet/host locals and visitors, expats, students from abroad also. I would also like to explore the surrounding of Pompei, would be happy to do this with other couchsurfing people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had CSers from Canada, Peru, Germany, Denmark. I was couchsurfing in Italy, Germany; all of them are great experiences, make travel unique and remembering, and it's good to see, how people like to show their cities around.

Interests

All kinds of outdoor activities (mountain biking, hiking, camping, skiing, running, flying/paragliding, traveling, backpacking), sports, hanging out with friends (especially warm summer evenings having a wine/beer on pub terraces in the city), music, concerts, cooking, eating, movies, reading, learning, or sometimes just do nothing for a while, lay on the beach, sleep.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies (just what comes in my mind right now): Tarantino, 21 grams, Babel, Intouchables, Hangover, La vita é bella, Into the wild, etc. Books: Steven Saylor, Educated from Tara Westover, Frank Schatzing, Merle, contemporary. Music: almost all-eater. Electronic, instrumental, ska, balkanbeats, dubstep, reggae, rock, vocal

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking the "Kungsleden" in Lappland, Sweden in autumn. Sunrise watching in Becket, MA. Sunset watching at lake Balaton, Hungary. Mountain biking in Transylvania, and many other countries, routes. Paragliding. Being on top of World Trade Center. Jumping out of an airplane, hiking/hillclimbing in "Slovensky Raj", trekking in Georgia Svaneti region and on the Laugavegur path in Iceland

Stories, experience, good food (I like to cook), photos (that's my hobby) and time of course.
