About Me

CURRENT MISSION

avoid the chicken

ABOUT ME

50% French blood + 50% Ecuadorian blood = ME
But don't worry, I'm not that simple!

By the way, just to be clear: Daniel is not my given name, it's my family name! I know it's confusing...

PHILOSOPHY

I think I can fly

-a dangerous philosophy when you live on the last floor of the building-

Interests

I love music. I play the guitar, the bass guitar, a little bit of drums, I am trying to learn the piano... and I played the tuba for 9 years! (Back then I was smaller than my instrument)
I have a charengo (which I'm still trying to know how to play) and I am beginning the didgeridoo
I like playing poker (Hold'em most of all)

I like to hang out with friends... but I don't like vodka-manzana anymore.

It might sound weird, but I like to go back to sleep... just so that I can feel again this precise moment when I'm falling asleep. Sometimes I just put my alarm clock earlier on purpose. (Yes it sounds definitly weird)

Music, Movies, and Books

All the Miyazakis, all the Gondrys (especially Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) and many others.
I'm really open-minded about music. I like rock/hard rock music most of all.
I like science-fiction and fantasy books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming with the sharks in the Galapagos Islands

well actually they were sleeping, all right, but it's not like I didn't try to wake them up! (Ask my syster about that... she wanted to kill me)

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be happy to teach anyone to play the guitar. I already do, just to make a little money so that I can hang out with my friends.
It's easy, really... you just need two hands (preferably with fingers on them) and a guitar.
- That was lesson 1 -
