ABOUT ME

I'm Alex. I live, study and work in Berlin. I like my life. Not every day is great, but in total I agree with its ways and doing mighty fine. I love having fun, going out, sleep long - I just finished my masters degree in educational science, but work at a readio station in Berlin called FluxFM. While doing that I'm a very optimistic and positive guy. I have a wide range of intrests and always love to be inspired with something new. That includes movies, books, all kind of arts and of course music; which is my biggest obsession. Apart from listening to it a play the guitar and the harmonica myself, which I love to take along on my trips or to the park around the corner. One might say, that I'm not yet Jimmy Hendrik, but I'm very enthusiastic and hard working and I think in 40 years from now I might be able to come close ;) I just have a lot of fun and for me that's the most important part.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Over the years a lot ,and by that I really mean a lot, people have crushed on my couch. Most of them where my friends and only a few of them I picked up when the had no place to stay or over couchsurfing. But I really like the idea of helping out and I'm sure that more is coming up

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I have only made great experience. The people I accommodated were always really nice, polite and honest. The same goes for the couches I've slept on. You people rock!

Interests

So many things, but on the top: definitly music! Besides from everything around it, like playing and going to concerts, I love my friends and to spend time with them. I also like to go out an meet new people, explore new exciting locations and I would say I enjoy the occasional drink ;)

Music: I really enjoy a lot of different styles depending on my mood. But all-timers: Bob Dylan, Rancid, Tom Waits, Bright Eyes, Feist, Slackers, Johnny Cash, Foo Fighters, The Tallest man on Earth, The Clash.
Also electronic music when going out

I can teach you German if your interested ;) besides from that: Play chess, all kind of video games, cooking, drinking beer (yes I'm from Germany - what can I say) and a little basic guitar
