ABOUT ME

My simple rules to life.... "Work like you don't need the money, Dance like nobody's watching, and Love like you've never been hurt." Ya, I got this one off the wall of a Jimmy John's but I love it. I'm sad to say that it's actually helped me out. After I graduated college, I just didn't want a real job so I packed up my car and headed west. I have lived in or at least visited most of the states now. I have met so many incredible people and I just can't get enough of it. I love the life that I lead. I believe what I do is one the the most fulfilling things in the world. If you are looking to do some traveling and want to make the most of it, then here's some advice that helped me out: "Never refuse an invitation, Never fail to be polite, and never outstay your welcome. Just keep your mind open and and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it." I think I consider myself a hopeless romantic, I'm a chocoholic but need milk in order to have it, I try to do something different every day in order to stay active, I miss fresh sushi and love exploring foods.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I kind of stopped using couchsurfing a couple years ago and I just recently returned. I heard that it's changed a bit, but I hope that it still has the ability to immerse yourself in a culture by living with a local and connecting on a deeper level.

Interests

outdoorsy stuff; snowboarding, rock climbing, volleyball, surfing, really just anything. I love trying new sports and activities especially if it is something local! Karaoke is another thing I LOVE to do! Lastly, I can't get enough of live music and exploring food.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book is The Count of Monte Cristo and my favorite music is mostly EDM and rock but I'm in love with Stick Figure (Reggae).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swam up to a whale while I was surfing. Well...I actually freaked out and paddled away haha, but my buddy stayed there.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love sharing music with people where we can both discover new bands that we never heard of.
