About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the globe, my country and my neighborhood and learn about the awesome people that make up this world.

ABOUT ME

I spent two years living on the french, South Pacific island of New Caledonia. The things I learned there have become a part of me and I learned so much about myself, especially the ability to love many different types of people. I recommend going to islands and observing their way of life. So much could be applied to our own country and we would see a lot less evil. I played college basketball for two years, although I'm learning that sports aren't everything. I love kids and anytime I'm having a bad moment I try to make a little kid smile and it instantly lifts me up. Try it sometime, it totally

PHILOSOPHY

Be smart before you say or do something. Be less about yourself and more about others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE

I've hosted and surfed. I look forward to more surfing and hosting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Suefed in Long Beach with Dana. Great experience. Exactly what Couch Surfing was meant to be. Hosted Karl and his wife Jessica. They were great guests. Surfed with Sophie in France

Interests

I'm interested in learning about people's experiences that have made them become a better person and contributing member of their community. I love conversations about things that matter to our future and also pointless banter about the current sporting world!

Music, Movies, and Books

"How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie is a must read by all. "Attitude is Everything" changed my entire outlook on life. "The Book of Mormon" has enhanced my spirituality like nothing else and made be the person I am today.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming in the ocean in New Caledonia at 3am and the water was like a swimming pool. Making the descent on Nandi, Fiji and seeing all the little surrounding islands and the clear blue ocean. Breathtaking. Doing silly magic tricks for kids in Fiji and seeing their smiles from ear to ear. Cleaning up a known homeless corner in Noumea, New Caledonia just because we thought it was a good thing to do. Volunteering at a blind center and seeing their enthusiasm and joy in life. Snorkeling with dolphins in Hawaii on Christmas morning

Teach, Learn, Share

Pride can destroy us and take away some of the most wonderful things life has to offer. If we forgive one another and treat each human being like the divine and beautiful person they really are, this world would see next to little hate, war, or dishonesty.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Private room and queen bed. Snuggles with my lab Ranger
