PHILOSOPHY

People spend too much time thinking they are different when in fact, I feel we're all the same with the same needs. Difference is the need for your ego to feel special...just give up the fight.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As a teenager I surfed many couches, cars, trucks, laps, chairs, floors, one jail, tents and even a couple of streets-informally.

Today, I can provide a couch/bed for you to surf on. I enjoy hosting...my boyfriend does, too.

Intereses

Lately, in my spare time I've been practicing yoga(beginner), working on my thesis and gardening.

My thesis took me to Bolivia-if you really wanna know about it, just ask. I can tell if you get IT or not.

I used to play soccer in a women's league. I play defense. I think I am a much better defender than any other position. I like being the person who is supportive of the leading scorers of the team. I don't need center stage.

I have three chickens whose eggs I absolutely love and a garden with a compost pile that is always a work in progress.

En mi tiempo libre practico yoga (acabo de empezar), escribo mi tesis y a veces pienso que soy jardinera.

Este semestre estoy escribiendo mi tesis. Fuy a Bolivia a recolectar entrevistas con turistas visitando a Bolivia. Si quieres saber el tema-preguntame y te lo explicare.

Futbol? Pues, juego cada domingo con un equipo de mujeres. Soy mejor como jugadora defensiva. Apoyar al equipo me interesa mas que un GOL.

Tengo tres gallinas y me ENCANTA cuando ponen huevo. :)

Música, películas y libros

Television and movies are boring to me and a big waste of time but my boyfriend spends a lot of time watching both so rather than beat them, I join them.

The books I read right now are mostly textbooks.

When I do have time for books I am interested in non-fiction.

Me aburro mucho con la television y peliculas pero mi novio se la pasa viendolas. Aveces me junto con el a ver un programa o alguna pelicula.

Los libros que estoy leyendo, ultimamente, son libros de la escuela.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I've watched a dead bear being skinned upside from the rafters of a kiva on the Zuni reservation. The nose was the most difficult part to remove.

I fell in quick sand once. It was very life affirming. But the most amazing thing I continue to experience and be amazed by is my freedom or lack thereof...

Hay muchas cosas que he hecho. Pero lo que me gusta mas es la experienca de la libertad...
