I'm a technical guy but I spend a lot of time outdoors. Aventure seeker. Hacker, maker, Free Software user/author/advocate, participant in Open Data movements, etc.

I got to travel quite a lot but I'm a dad now and have fewer opportunities to travel so I hope to host folks, before that I've been a guest a few times and also did some epic hitchhiking. I prefer short notice requests, 1-2 weeks ahead max. so I can keep my plans flexible and join activities spontaneously. I have no idea what I'm doing in November.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of meeting people and staying at people's homes instead of hotel rooms. I was a Hospitality Club user back in the day but the site wasn't working too well so I'm checking out CS. I'm not "verified" on CS because it's a rip-off.

Interests

Technical stuff of all kinds, logic/maths, flying machines, drones, aviation, and linguistics. Many other things depending on the time of day.
