Overview
About Me
My passion for big adventures started during first sea sailing with college friends from Gdansk, Poland to Kopenhagen, Denmark. View of sea extended further than the horizon, wind in sails and big blue sky upon us was the biggest reward you could experience there. And the reason for next trips to Klajpeda, Lithuania and sea route around Spain - where because of incoming departure day from Barcelona, I had to get out from boat in South-Western Tarifa and cross whole contry alone within 2 days. Scary? Yeah, sort of, but most of all wonderful and memorable!
That kind of experience made me grab my backpack, hide 300 euro in pocket and go for 24 days hichhike adventure through Czech Republic, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia & Hercegovina, Montenegro and Croatia. It was the frist trip where I had privilige to be hosted by Couchsurfer. Long story short - I would never had chance to see, learn and pass through if I never heard about CS. If you are looking for good material for writing a book, hotels are not for you and you love to talk with people, just go on and make your first step.
I promise, you won't regret it !!!
Passionately, I love sport, history, photography and exploring new places like everybody here :)
Professionally, I'm electrical engineer working in ship design office, which is involved in many projects around the world. On-site inspections gives me opportiunity to see some corners on the Earth. And meet new Couchsurfers by the occasion!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
That is just the best way to explore foreign cities - even if there are no hosts around, there will be always other travellers who would like to team up and do something amazing.
I can't couch anyone in home right now, BUT, I can always walk with you through streets of Gdańsk/Sopot/Gdynia and show you many interesting places!
