CURRENT MISSION

Life isn't a dress rehersal. I don't want to waste the most able-bodied years of my life, over-working, trying to save for when I'm old, retired, and can't physically do the things I had always wanted to do.

ABOUT ME

I decided a while back that there's no guarantee I'll even make it to retirement, so I'm trying to do all those things now that most people put off. I've been to 47 out of 50 states in the U.S. and it's really time to see more of other cultures. I play guitar and sing and had a gig three times a week at a few bars in New York City and now a couple in Los Angeles. Music and the arts are real passions of mine.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I don't have a couch, I have a cot that can be set up in my studio apartment. Outside of that, I've lived a few places and maybe can set people up with others to hang out with in those cities, get a free drink from a bartender (or maybe even stay at their place). I LOVE playing tour guide and always pride myself on knowing the best secret spots and highlights of whatever city I've lived in. I look forward to sharing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I worked for a Collegiate Fraternity for two years and traveled around to about 100 college campuses. I've slept on pretty much the dirtiest of all bunk beds and couches that one can imagine. Other than that, I toured managing marketing campaigns for a few years on and off and couch surfed with lots of friends to save my hotel allowance. Once, in an 8 week tour, I only stayed 1 night in a hotel. Woohoo!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I back-flipped off of a train tressel into a white water rafting river. Scary as hell. Looking forward to Hang gliding in Brazil!

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I'd love to learn another language! I took Spanish in high school and college, but need some serious immersion to get better at it.
I've played guitar for 20 years. Happy to share, teach or whatever! I can do about 4 hours of cover songs from a number of genres and willing to entertain anytime anywhere
