About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Cycling through Morocco for the month of January. Recently been developing projects for the coming year.
ABOUT ME
I'm a 28 year old Irish guy who loves collaborating on creative projects, playing music and going on spontaneous explorations.
I've just returned to Ireland from a scholarship course in Peace & Leadership in Colorado. I was exploring community orientated social enterprises across the Western US.
I like to keep myself busy, and I'm always interested in new projects and experiences. I've travelled a great deal. I was on the road between 2005 and 2008 travelling (and sometimes living) around Europe, Central America and India. I've recently been living in Dublin, developing a range of social initiatives (streetfeast.ie and upstart.ie).
I'm keen on good food, digging in the garden, juggling, cycling, hitch-hiking and learning the fiddle.
I'm a vegetarian, I try to maintain a yoga practice and I fail at keeping fit!
Other interests include:
Design / Permaculture / Social Innovation / Facilitation / Community Activism / Photography / Mischief!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted so many travellers in the homes I've had over the years in Glasgow, Paris, Guatemala and Dublin. I've never actually used Couchsurfing personally; usually couchsurfers have made the connection and stayed with me via a friendly connection.
It's been the same for when I've travelled. I've been very lucky to get to know people and make connections outside of Couchsurfing (i've been wwoofing and volunteering), hence the little CS community I have right now.
Interests
I'm passionate about healthy communities, positive social initiatives and sustainable & local food initiatives. I spend my time making projects and visions a reality. In-between all of that, I love learning the fiddle and juggling!
