ABOUT ME

I just got married!!!!!

I am a very social and outgoing person. I love being around friends and meeting new people. Like all fellow couch surfers, travel is a huge passion of mine, its basically what all my extra money goes to. I love History and have an undergraduate degree in History Education. I recently received my Masters in K-6 teaching and currently teach 6th grade Science and Social Studies. I was involved in drama in college and high school and love being the center of attention. Music is also very important to me, besides traveling my favorite thing to do is go to a live show. My favorite bands include Manchester Orchestra and Brand New. I am also a reader and if you love Harry Potter like I do we will have lots to talk about!

PHILOSOPHY

Well I want to be a teacher so I have the desire to help children grow and learn. I like to work with inner-city kids and English Language Learners.

Also, nothing makes me happier than making others laugh. So I live my life trying to make as many great memories as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just bought my first home and have recently opened up my couch to surfers. So far I have had great experiences! I am also starting to attend Couchsurfing meetings here in Nashville. The next time I travel I will definitely couchsurf!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived a night on a train from Vienna to Switzerland locked in a couchette with my best friend Kaitie and a criminal who was later arrested and taken off the train.

Also, I have 4 plates on the wall of Flying Saucer Pub for having tried over 600 different beers!!!
