Married and the father of 3 boys, ages 18 to 25. Two of them don't live with us that much anymore.
I was born and lived in Israel forever. Sometimes I dive and sometimes ride a bicycle. I love hiking and being at home. Nevertheless, for six months I had a backpack trip with my wife and children in Nepal and India. An unforgettable experience.
I really like to cook - it's my entertainment mainly on weekends. I also like to work with my hands - once I would build with my carpentry machine but now I'm less available for it. Sometimes I work in the garden and dream that maybe one day I'll be able to grow a vegetable garden.
Recently I volunteer in a social group that helps people who get stuck with their car - because of a flat tire, a starting problem or something similar. It is nice to help and move a person from a frustrating experience to a situation where he can continue his plans with ease.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm happy to meet people from the world in addition to the opportunity to introduce them to my country that I love very much. In other countries I have always enjoyed a lot more meeting residents than visiting tourist sites. So I'm happy to give this experience to others as well.
