About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Improving our skills as global Earthlings.
ABOUT ME
Always ready to plunge into a new culture. Travelers by heart.
We're a Danish couple, currently living in Switzerland. Before Switzerland we lived in India for 7 years, Japan for 4 years, and in Brazil for 1.5years. We also lived in Bangladesh and in Malaysia!
We're grateful for having grown up in Denmark and for all the things we've learned by doing so, but now it's time to learn from the rest of the world. All cultures have something unique to offer, something new to teach us, that's why we like living in different countries.
"To learn about another great culture is to enrich one's life, to understand one's own country better, to feel more at home in the world, and indirectly to add to that reservoir of individual goodwill that may, generations from now, temper the cynical use of national power." (Vikram Seth)

Though not CS- related, we have met (on our travels) many people who unselfishly and eagerly have shared their culture, home and life with us especially in Brazil and Bolivia. They have been our inspiration to join CS in the first place.
Interests
Traveling for one thing, - whether it is two blocks away, to explore a tiny dusty local restaurant or 10.000 kilometers away to experience a famous landmark with our own eyes.
Tend to do a lot of running, yoga, reading, hiking, food exploring in a healthy perspective (towards an unrefined plant-based diet), and are curious about meditation too. Ohh and being surrounded by friends, - whether old, new or potential. More into coffee and conversations than drinks and dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Rohinton Mistry, Paulo Coelho & Haruki Murakami
Music,- a mixed bag!
Movies are enjoyed, but seen too seldom. Mostly on airplanes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent one night on a deserted floating island on Lake Titicaca, Bolivia, while the inhabitants of the island were attending a wedding on a nearby island. Magical.
