About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Drawing out my life's road map and meeting great people along the way!
ABOUT ME
I aim to live with passion and love every day. Like today, I ate the most amazing pepper in the whole world.
PHILOSOPHY
Something I love to talk about, but I want to keep this brief. I live by these statements.
Laugh, dance, smile a lot. Give even when in need. Live in abundance. Ask questions, especially when I think I know a lot. Looking forward to a good day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The couch on 33rd Avenue is usually already occupied, so we slept in one of those closets-under-the-stairs that makes you feel like Harry Potter. Every time we opened the door from the inside there were new faces occupying the living room. Usually dancing to impromptu jam sessions.
My new friends from the Wool Festival have this incredible root cellar with a pulley-operated door that looks like its from the 1940's, visible from the basement guest room. To my absolute delight, the basement floor was filled with bags and bags of wool shearings from their herd of sheep. She was kind enough to show me her incredible piece of land after a delicious breakfast.
Oh and then there was that one couch at my dear friend's boyfriend's parent's house. It was one of those cool ones that makes an "L" and when you wedge an ottoman in there you get a MONGO COUCH!
In a little house with two big hearts across from the railroad tracks there's this brown couch that is really lumpy and lovely, and when you layer yourself between it and a down sleeping bag its like a hug sandwich. Also doubles as a kitchen table, but only when there's extremely spicy breakfast burritos and some poetry.
The Talpa Gardens couch wasn't a couch. It was a cot, and in the middle of his super hip kitchen. He has cats. They like to fight around 3am under that cot and trust me, you don wanna mess wit dat. One of my favorite memories? Getting to know Jeff over bunching turnips while the sun was just waking up. The dude's hilarious.

I've felt rain on my face.
