About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get to know the world

ABOUT ME

I like a lot of different things like meeting people, having time for myself, having fun, enjoying some quiet time etc.
I am a computer programmer in my hometown of Timisoara

PHILOSOPHY

Most recently I have discovered Buddhism, and while I would not say I am a strong adherent of any particular belief, I enjoy learning about a lot of them.
In day to day life I think I am easy-going and taking things as they come.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and getting to know locals to experience the specific culture if I am travelling (started out as mostly spending nights between low cost flights)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was through a friend who arranged for me a night next to an airport. That guy I didn't know and who shared his food and even left me the key to his apartment inspired me to be a better person.
After the "low-cost" flights phase I started hosting and had nice friendly people over and surfing a bit to get to know the culture of the place I am visiting

I enjoy the little things and you can see wonder in a lot of them.

If talking about travel, I got to drink water from a waterfall which was flowing from a glacier into a fjord.
