CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

It's always an impossible mission to write these kinds of self presentations without sounding like a pretentious and conceited moron. That said, I still believe that it would be even more annoying not writing anything.

So... I have no clue what to do with my life. I've spent five years at the university studying ethnology, history of ideas, film studies, cultural studies and all that jazz. I also spent a year at art school, unlearning almost everything I thought I knew about myself. All this points to the fact that I'm a typicall middle class girl raised by bohemian parents in Sweden.

Maybe this statements will do a better job explaining my personality:

I HATE THE FACT THAT MOST OF US HAVE AN URGE TO BE SELF REFLECTIVE ALL THE TIME AND I BELIVE THAT THIS IS WHAT'S KEEPING US FROM THINKING TRULY RADICAL STUFF.

I LOVE MARINA ABRAMOVIC. I CRY EVERYTIME I SEE "AUTUMN SONATA" BY INGMAR BERGMAN. MY FIRST BIG MUSICAL EXPERIENCE WAS WHEN I FOUND A RECORD BY MELANIE SAFKA IN MY MOTHER'S LP COLLECTION.

FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO I BOUGHT TWO RATS. THEY WERE MUCH BELOVED BUT UNFORTUNATELY INCONTINENT. THEY BOTH DIED IN CANCER 2012.

PEOPLE WHOSE COUCH I GLADLY (AND HUMBLY) WOULD SLEEP ON: JUDITH BUTLER, TOM WAITS, DEVENDRA BANHART, DELEUZE, LIV ULLMAN, SCHOPENHAUER, MARGUERITE DURAS, DJUNA BARNES, DORIS LESSLING, TARKOVSKY, FLANNERY O'CONNOR, KAREN BARAD & THE ELEPHANT MAN.

THINGS I LOVE: PANCAKES, WALKING AROUND IN NEW CITIES, PLAYING BEAUTIFUL INSTRUMENTS BADLY, DRINKING CHEEP WINE & SOLIDARITY.

I'M ALWAYS DEHYDRATED BY A TOO HIGH COFFEE INTAKE.

IF I HAD A SPIRIT ANIMAL IT WOULD BE AN OTTER.

Ok, so I get that it doesn't look good to have 0% response rate. To my defense I must say that I totally forgot about this website and didn't check my mail for three years. I promise to shape up.
