I was a workaholic for many years. In 2012 I quit my job to buy a one way ticket to Limbo.

What's this rubbish with getting verified, now? Couchsurfing should stay free. Don't give money to this corporation, they are distorting the original philosophy of it!

I love the idea of people – total strangers – helping each other out: Offering someone a place to sleep, a warm shower and sharing food and stories. It's great if you are a budget traveler but also if you just want an alternative way to travel, interacting with locals and all that jazz.
