ABOUT ME

Joy of life for me could be out in the nature for activities such as hiking, cycling or ice-skating. Joy for me in life could also be traveling and sharing time with friends from different countries with different cultures. I think that’s how I would describe myself as a person.

PHILOSOPHY

Watching and listening. Travelling and communicating with other people. To see life as an opportunity of gaining new experiences and don’t think too much about own problems.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Me and my girlfriend (Asta) have host and have been hosted by many nice Couchsurfers. We have also attended to many nice CS-meetings in different countries. Normally we do our best to spread the word about CS with people we meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had good CS experiences in Ghana, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Morocco, Spain, France, Germany, Malta, South Korea, and there will be many more...

兴趣

I like outdoor activities in the nature such as biking, skiing and ice-skating as well as hiking in forrests or in mountain areas. I also like dancing, recently I started to dance Lindy-hop. As an urban developer I'm interested to experience urban areas and to understand how they have developed, how public and private spaces are shaped and how transport systems are functioning in cities. And of course travelling and to get acquainted with people from different cultures makes life more enjoyable and interesting!

Movies: Some of my favourite movie directors, David Lynch (USA), Jim Jarmusch (USA), Ingmar Bergman (Swe), Lukas Moodysson (Swe), Roy Andersson (Swe), Susanne Bier (Denmark), Perdo Almodovar (Spain), Ken Loach (UK), Fatih Akin (Germany/Turkey), Jafar Panahi (Iran) and Kim Ki-duk (South Korea).

Music I like: I can enjoy all types of music from any country in the world. My music ear is broad, it still can become broader.

Books: Some authors that I like, George Orwell, Vilhelm Moberg, Jan Guillou, Per-Anders Fogelström, Hjalmar Söderberg, J.R.R. Tolkien, Doris Lessing, Khaled Hosseini, Fjodor Dostojevskij, Sofi Oksanen. I also like reading books about philosophy, psychology and about urban development.

The desert in Wadi Rum in Jordan as well as the pampas and rainforest in Rurrenbaque in Bolivia are two amazing nature experiences I've enjoyed in life.
