About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to be a good person and meet friends.

ABOUT ME

I am a born and raised New Yorker.

I don't really cook, but I am quite a foodie. At home I will mostly eat fruit and drink coffee. I enjoy red wine, stout beer, black coffee, durian, and very spicy foods. I am pretty laid back, and like the same.

PHILOSOPHY

We have one life to live, don't let it pass you by. Live it now!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet new people from around the world. Let's have a good time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a lot in the past.

Interests

I am a big foodie. I love the hole in the wall places that locals go for good food. I am interested in real estate also, but don't try to sell me your time-share. :)
Backgammon. Traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like documentaries a lot. I loved the movie Clerks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled a lot around South East Asia. I found a routing mistake on Northwest Airlines flying NYC-Bangkok-New Orleans-Seoul-New York (with many connections in between) for $780. I gained over 80,000 frequent flyer miles by doing it and had a great time. During my overnight in Seoul I wanted to try out their famous bath houses. After walking all around the city, at 3am I went into one. I didn't find out until I was in the sauna that it was a gay sauna! I'm not gay. Oh boy. In the morning I told the Korea guy next to me on the plane what happened and he said "that is impossible, because we don't have such things". Funny. I guess he just couldn't accept such a thing existed in his country.
