About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Saying yes to every opportunity and seeing what the fates throw at me!

ABOUT ME

Having lived in Thailand for 2 years, I suddenly decided that I should be back in the UK...big mistake! So I'm putting things in place to get back to Bangkok!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last time I lived in Bangkok I met up with some cool, interesting travellers as they passed through the city. When I lived in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, I was on the other side of the couch and was lucky enough to meet up with some awesome locals who showed me the sights and made me feel really welcome.

Music, Movies, and Books

The music I like depends on the mood I'm in but my tastes are fairly eclectic....The Police to Adele, Tinie Tempa to Noah and The Whale, house, dubstep....the list goes on. My movie tastes are similarly varied but I definitely don't like scary, spooky horror/slasher films! 'Insidious' scared the bejaysus out of me! I love to read and my favourite genres are historical fiction and crime thrillers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think to date the most amazing thing I've done is move half way around the world to start a new life. It doesn't sound like much, but leaving your home country with no intention of returning, yet no real idea of what you're going to do at your chosen destination either, is a really scary thing to do.
