Hi! I'm Bằng. My first name in Vietnamese means "balance", and combined with my middle name, Hải Bằng, it means a silent and peaceful sea. Lê is the last name of my family. You can call me HaBa as well if it's easier for you :)

I'm studying at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology majoring in Computer Science. Since my graduation, I have been working as a Software Engineer for a better part of more than 5 years. I also love art so I do some drawings and paintings just for fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's really exciting when talking with someone, living in another country, about their hobbies, culture, life, and everything else.

Also, we (My friends & I) want to show you how friendly Vietnamese are and how amazing our country is. We're really welcome to take you to our homeland (Bến Tre) on the weekend (if you want).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove a motorbike to the Southernmost of Vietnam (Cà Mau) with my friend and a super cute Spanish guy. The night at the Southernmost with a sky full of stars was amazing. That journey was unforgettable as well.

We (my friends and I) have a house that we named Happy House in Ho Chi Minh City where we welcomed more than 100 Couchsurfers from all over the world. But we stopped that 3 years ago due to everybody having their own jobs and directions to follow.
