ABOUT ME

Hola - Salute - Arigato - Hi!

I am Ashley I am new to couchsurf! But have been travelling for 5 years on and off :) I guess in life, i would say you should ask my friends or family about me but i guess i need to say something. I am a musician and traveler at heart. There is nothing else i love more than to jam and talk with creative minds. I can be fun, i can be sarcastic and like many people i can be crazy but i follow my heart. I like to live and experience new things, i seem not to follow rules and i do what i feel is best because i believe life is short so we should see as much of it as early on as we can.

I first packed up and ventured on an inter rail adventure back in 2008. I left my job, friends, family and went out there with a tent, a dream and my guitar hoping to find myself and grow i guess. Lasted 4months and visited 11 countries and had the ultimate experience and so I have been working around the world since. I cannot do 'normal' routine 9-5 job, like a lot of us it just isn't for us at the moment, i'm giving myself to the world doing good and hope she looks after me!

I am a person that wants to move with the times, embraces change and loves to let life naturally lead me into my path. I am currently a photographer but the last few years i have been working as a swim teacher/lifeguard.

My french friends call me "rootsy", my English ones call me Jud, but Ashley is fine, i hope to know yours!

I love making friends and meeting new people over a beer or two, especially learning about culture and other peoples background. I speak some French which i am still learning because i love that place and worked the over for two seasons.
