About Me
CURRENT MISSION
walk life in balance, achieve my potential, follow my bliss, give back, help others
ABOUT ME
I am a family medicine physician recently ventured into private practice. I've completed a fellowship in integrative medicine, combining the best of conventional and alternative medicine, and am now offering holistic primary care. Mother of three amazing and beautiful children ages 16, 13 and infant. When not working or with my kids, love to go dancing....reggae, world music (african, indian, middle-eastern, caribbean, latin). Stay in shape w/ hiking, biking, jogging, yoga, swimming. Travel when I can.
PHILOSOPHY
Live love. Work hard, play hard. Balance and moderation. Increase mindfulness, enjoy the abundance, gratitude for each day. Learn, grow, spiral home to the essence within that is eternal. Don't postpone joy. Cultivate DAO, uplift others to return home on the enlightenment path.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
want to surf when travel about on business trips, continuing medicine education conferences. Host too for travelers coming through the southwest
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Been hosting folks by the dozen since Sept 2011. All good experiences. Affirms my faith in humanity, and exercises the old Biblical command to "welcome the stranger."
