About Me

I'm open-minded, I like people, cats, books and banjos. I have a thing for treehouses and nature and feminism and I do feel the strongest and most alive when I'm on the road or even better off the road - somewhere in a forest, at an empty coast line or at a mountain lake. I'm usually a bit quiet around people I just met, but I can as well talk for hours if it comes to topics I am really passionate about!

I'm also really passionate about fancy vegan recipes and sleeping!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If it happens, that I'm planning to strand in a city or a village, I'm interested in getting to know some people that are living there. I'm not this kind of travelguide and hotel person :)

Interests

well, playing the banjo (or trying to play any other instrument i have the chance to get my hands on), jam sessions, travelling and participating in feminist and eco-activist projects. also, i like to educate myself, get to know people around me and trying to develope sensitivity and empathy for all this life around me.

Music, Movies, and Books

i'm into oldtime music from the appalachian mountains, england and ireland, especially if it comes with a banjo (haha, yeah i'm kind of obsessed!) & i really like queerfeminist folkpunk!

oh and i will always find time if there's a harry potter marathon in sight!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i lived in a beautiful old forest, most of the time in treehouses 20 meters above the ground, for 2 and a half years more or less. i guess i'll never top this experience with another!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very good in taking a break from everyday life - I don't take society toooo serious, maybe you'd be interested in learning about that haha
I also go skipping (dumpster diving) and I think I know some good jokes (some really bad as well).
I share all the stuff I have, food is as communal as books or clothes or bodywash.

I am always interested in learning foreign languages, a new instrument or in listening to personal stories and insights

What I Can Share with Hosts

stories, loads and loads of stories i guess :)
