ABOUT ME

I am an engineer working in software engineering field. I am doing PhD and working in university. I do like to go around - both nearby and around the world. I have traveled USA, Canada, UK, Italy outside my home country. I have traveled many places in my country; cultural visits, trekking and so on.
In my daily life, I am interested in many kinds of sports (mountaineering, rock climbing, trekking, running, swimming, bicycle, yoga, pilates, tabletennis), photography, archeology, movies, hanging out with friends and so on. I am living very close to university campus with a forest and working there; I am involved in a sports activity almost every day.
I am a very neat and cheerful person. I have years of experience living in dormitories and roommates. I am very easy going. No smoking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have enjoyed this idea very much from the time I heard it from my friends. I can host some people from time to time in my house (though I am working very hard, I guess we can arrange small visits).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had many experiences during my journey to Munich and Italy in July 2010. It was all fantastic. I now have many good friends, both my hosts and other friends met by means of CS. Thank you all guys! And now I meet CSer friends and start to host people in Ankara also. I believe I have become a true CSer!

Interests

music, joining concerts, sports (running, bicycle, swimming, tabletennis, trekking, yoga, pilates), photography, archeology, trekking in nature, hanging out with friends, watch movies and some TV series, absolutely cooking, and tasting food from different kitchens, swimming, activities involving sea and water, some other things I don't remember...

And of course traveling, meeting new people, seeing new places... It is so nice to be away from the rest of your life and live in a brand new world while traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Many... not easy to remember.
I like listening to music of many different types. Metal, gothic metal, celtic, folk, rock...
Many movies I like. I have read many classics and more others. How can I remember some? For example short time ago, I watched the movie "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" from the book by Milan Kundera. I had also read the book before. And so on...
