About Me
Hello, there!
I know my name is long to read, but I prefer to be called Banu (which means lady). My desire to explore the world made me move from Azerbaijan, and I decided to land in Copenhagento study my master's for last 2 years. One semester of my studies I did exchange in New Zealand, hiking, roadtripping around and loving it. When coming to traveling, I like to be planned but also enjoy being spontaneous and taking risks.
Currently I am back to Copenhagen, now working full time and planning occasional trips on longer weekends. my goal is to save as much so i can have a longer career break while travelling on a van. Not yet decided where and how but i know my love to nature and exploring is calling for me:)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love how people with different backgrounds are connected with one main similarity, which is love for exploring the world we born into. I love meeting new people from here, or getting to learn so much through their lens of seeing the world. I think staying in hostels is also so fun but sometimes it is so commercialized that i dont want to be part of it. My aim is to reach a place in life where i can host so many surfers myself, doesnt matter it will be a van or room or a couch, but i i will be there :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love listening to soft rock, jazz, and classical music. My favorite music is "Still Loving You" from Scorpions. Unfortunalely, i couldnt go to Scorpion's concert this september because they cancelled, still healing from this fact :((
My favorite book is "The Gadfly" by Ethel Lilian Voynich and as a film, I love "Shutter Island". My favorite TV series is Breaking Bad :) But i very much enjoy documentaries about politics, history, culture and conspiracies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For myself, it is that i decided to exchange in New zealand, met amazing friends, explored amazing places and cried a lot of times in front of the beauty of the nature
For the world, I adopted a cat
