About Me

My favorite hobby consists in going to cities I've never been before by hitchhiking and meet as many locals as I can 😉👍

I want to spend my early 20s exploring the world, discovering new people and cultures, learning new languages... I see it like a personal journey to adulthood, and I definitely love this process 🤠🧭

Right now, I'm traveling in Europe, with the project to make a series of tutorials about hitchhiking. This way of traveling definitely changed my life so I want to make it as accessible as possible 😄🎥

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I met a lot of amazing people here: some of them are now very good friends, some of them gave me precious life lessons...
I think Couchsurfing is one of the best place to find interesting and inspiring persons, whether it is at home or on the road.

In addition to that, the possibility to meet locals or expats in their environment is maybe the best way to experience a true cultural immersion!

Interests

Right now, my main interests are in two categories:

-Psychology: I wanna get to know well the roots of the human nature, what makes people strong or peaceful...

-Personal health: whether it's about nutrition, meditation or fitness, I just love to read and discuss these subjects!

(And of course I love traveling, but you know that 😁)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:

-Le petit prince: I read it every year I think, it's full of good metaphors about life and relationships

-Man's search for meaning: life changing book, taught me a good way to make decisions in my life

-Le monde en stop: convinced me to try hitchhiking (and Couchsurfing)

-The way of the peaceful warrior: one of my doors to meditation, sport, nutrition...

-The subtle art of not giving a f***: gave me a lot clues about what I should care or not 👌

Musics:

-A lot of OST, Rock, Pop... Sometimes Rap or Latina music 🎵
-I like to sing songs from Queen, Sinatra, The Beatles, Jacques Brel, Andrea Bocelli, Muse... I'm also trying to sing Eminem, but it's hard 😜

Movies:

-My guilty pleasure is to watch the Pixar movies, as they often talk about very deep subjects in a very simple way
-Movies like Forrest Gump, Will Hunting, Patch Adams, American Beauty, The Lord of the Ring could be in my top 10
-You can check my YouTube channel, it's called "Autostop Adventure", there are a few hitchhiking road movie there 🍿

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I travelled alone, I was sixteen! I went in South Africa for two weeks for volunteering, I had to take care of children in the townships. There, I discoved that I could hold 5 persons on my back for almost 9 seconds, and that kids are the best teachers when you want to know more about happiness!

I also participated to a hitchhiking race from Krakow (🇵🇱) to Kalamitsi (🇬🇷) with my friend Erlend. We did more than 1500km in 3 days, it was quite epic!

I learnt Italian on my own for one year 🇮🇹

I know how to make a ratatouille 🍲

I asked for a free night at the most expensive hotel in Nice ⛱️

I directed a documentary about "How to live peacefully while being aware of the climate situation" 🌍📹

And I can sound like Chewbacca when I yawn 😜

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French, I know a few good recipes, I like to dance (I can teach rock dance)...

Basically, when it comes to languages, food or music/dance, I'm really enthusiastic!

I can teach you a little bit about drawing if you want! Or eventually make a photoshoot with you 📸

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I use CS, it's to meet new people, with life experience to share! So i really hope we'll have time to discuss bout our respective cultures, adventures, passions...

We can also practice French, English, Spanish, Italian...

And, I can cook a few good dishes from France and some other countries !

And of course, I'll be quite curious about the local way of life in your city 😉
