Overview
About Me
I grew up in Prague, Czech Republic, spent a year in the USA at a local High School, and now I'm studying Modern Languages and Linguistics (German and Spanish) at the University of Warwick in the UK.
I am an open-minded person ready to explore, always looking for new things to see and try. I love listening to other's travel stories as well as sharing my own.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I first used Couchsurfing I made some pretty amazing experiences in Budapest, Warsaw and Berlin while volunteering at Summer English Language camps and going to a translation summer school. The best experiences I've had while traveling come from trips where I stayed with the locals: from my year abroad in a host family, through a cultural exchange (I also hosted my partner), and annual vacations in Croatia to a volunteering trip to Budapest.
Anywhere I go, I always love to get a feel for the city from a local's perspective and to see it in the way they do.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't mind most kinds of music, but I particularly like modern instrumental music (Lindsey Stirling), I'm open to classical music too, but don't prefer rap.
I used to love sci-fi and fantasy books, now I mostly read non-fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've spent 5 months studying in Chile, learning Spanish and travelling around South America, which has really opened my eyes to a whole another world of people, cultures and possibilities.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to share my passion for foreign languages, bits and pieces of the Czech language and culture as well as stories from my past travels.
