About Me

I'm an open minded person who likes to live to the fullest. I always seek to enhance my experiences and knowledge of the world. I love sports, hiking, travelling, photographing, and generally all activities that involve working your body.
I enjoy meeting new people with same or different passions, learn from them and teach them, and generally have a good time.

And if all that happens over a pint of beer, then I need nothing more :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have many friends who participate CS and had great experiences. I love meeting new people and experiencing new cultures, other than mine, so it seems like the natural thing for me.

I haven't got any experience with CS yet, but a lot of my friends do. They all tell good things, and I'm sure so will I.

Interests

I like travelling and exploring new places, and I love photography and capturing special moments.
I'm enthusiastic about extreme sports of any kind. In particular rock climbing, snowboarding and surfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many competitors for this slot, but most definitely one of the first places belongs to a personal experience during my back packing trip in S.E Asia about decade ago.
I traveled in Laos at that time for about two months, during which I learned the Lao language and became very good at it.
The end of my trip I went to the farthest point in the country I could reach to and found a local village that weren't acquainted with foreigner visitors. I asked and was allowed to stay with them for several days, where I ate, slept and played with them. We only communicated with my newly acquired language skills.
This was definitely a life changing experience that I carry with me since then.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach & Share - my language, my culture and my experience on this planet.
Learn - exactly the same thing from others POV :)
