ABOUT ME

I am a grad student spending the year traveling from country to country. I'm laid back and like meeting new people. I'm always up for a good conversation and/or a drink(s).

Literature, whiskey, philosophy, writing, playing music, chuckling, global politics, seeing how far in life I can get without owning an umbrella, finding and drinking the best cheap wines possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books - I adore all things Russian literature (and Dostoevsky trumps them all), Kerouac, Hemingway, Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, Camus, Sartre, Marquez, Zizek, Wittgenstein, and lots of obscure eastern european authors.

Music - eclectic, if it moves me I like it. Favourites: Radiohead, Godspeed you! Black emperor, explosions in the sky, Murder by Death, sigur ros, IAMX, Arcade Fire and I'm pretty sure I can listen to Beethoven's 9th on repeat infinitely.

I love intelligent (and rambling) conversation of any kind, especially relating to philosophy, literature, and political activism.
