About Me
Hey all! I am a 5th grade teacher in the Bronx, NY. I returned from my time in Guatemala a few months ago. I was hoping to get my own place but that was not possible! That means that I cannot host anyone right now, HOWEVER, I'd be happy to meet some people and show them around NYC when we both have time. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend who left NYC and is now living inThailand recommended it to me. It looks like a very open-minded and down to earth community of people. I wanted to give it a try!
Interests
I enjoy painting. I've been doing it since High School. I am not the best, but it is one of my most recommended self-care activities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent two months in Ethiopia. Most of my time was spent in Addis Ababa, but I also had the wonderful opportunity to go visit Gondar and Lalibela. If you have not visited yet, I HIGHLY recommend it. Beautiful languages, tasty food, and kind people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am very clean! I like to keep organized. I enjoy visiting new places and trying new types of food. My native language is Spanish, and I am always down to learn new dialects and languages. I would be glad to practice Spanish and English with anyone.
