I grew up mostly in Arizona, USA but moved around a bit when younger.I love being outdoors. I didn't grow up playing many sports or watching a lot of TV. I was out helping on the farm or exploring. That stayed with me throughout my life and I have taken many trips to explore beyond my own hometown. I love hiking and backpacking where I get to experience nature more fully and see things most people only get to see in pictures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and am always interested in learning new things. I love learning about the history and culture in the places I travel and feel that staying with people who live there can teach me more than a book. I love life and all it has to offer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived out in the desert every other week for five months walking with and teaching youth in a Wilderness Therapy program. It was a life changing experience working in the ANASAZI Foundation.
