About Me

I'm travelling until mid November, so not accepting guests for the moment!

I first arrived in Montreal in 2005 from my native Brazil. The city’s vibrant cultural diversity provided fertile ground for a new life and a creative spring, prompting me to settle permanently in 2009.

A graduate in Linguistics, I taught language and worked as a translator for many years before allowing my passion for the visual arts and design to take over. This creative urge prompted a change in my career path, leading me to new professional choices and a clear direction to fulfill my passion. I left the Translation program at Université de Montreal and enrolled in Fine Arts at UQAM, taking courses in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Digital Illustration, Pottery, participating in workshops and conferences. Experimenting both in a professional setting and on my own, my creativity was driven by the desire to learn.

Leaving my already established career as a teacher and translator in Brazil to start from scratch as an entrepreneur and designer in Canada posed numerous challenges, but after a few years of dedication and diligence, Cadeauté became a reality. My brand is based in my home studio in Montreal, where I work to turn dreams into designs and inspire people to live a joyful and colourful life.
