We are a Hungarian couple both in our mid 30's living in Budapest (Hungary), who love to travel to distant places during our holidays, to see the things we have only dreamt about as we saw them on TV when we were young, and nobody in our country could go abroad.

We also see traveling as an art of relaxation, because this is the only time in the year, when we can finally get away from our daily work for more than couple days, and just enjoy ourselves, experience new things, learn other cultures, and of course make some new friends along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We hosted this year a Mexican friend of us for a week here in Budapest, and we enjoyed a lot showing our city's sights for a stranger, and getting each other know better.

Interests

First of all traveling, making new friends, motorcycle riding, the summer, snipping a cocktail at the beach, ice cream, Reese’s peanut butter cups, going out with our friends and laughing, skiing, BBQ, tandem jumping, and everything that is fun, delicious, or a little dangerous.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Jumped out of a helicopter at 3500+ meters, and parachuted back to earth ...tandem jump of course :)
- Was riding the motorbike for more than 250 kph...pssst don't tell the cops :)
- Played and petted huge tigers, swam with the dolphins
- Jumped into an ice cold lake after the sauna and survived

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can introduce you into the fantastic world of "pálinka" (Hungarian fruit brandy) and "túró rudi" (traditional Hungarian sweets) if the customs doesn't confiscate it :) and the secret recipe of Marci's dried-tomato pasta.

We can also share with you our experiences acquired during our travels, and of course tell you a lot about Hungary.
