About Me

I started writing what I saw when I was 10 and then I've never given up the pen, further transformed in a keyboard and, recently, in a mini-keyboard. I’m passionate about writing to describe experiences and emotions and to convince people to change their mind and act.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One my first reportages was in Haiti in 2007, just after the coup d'état against Aristide. I arrived alone only with some contacts of some friends of friends. I wasn't embedded neither by a state, neither by a media, neither by an NGO. The family of a friend of a friend took me in his house during 4 weeks. They lived in a really poor area outside Port-au-Prince where the most of people lived in houses made of wooden poles and plastic tarpaulins. In the house of the family where I was living there was no electricity neither water. The mother prepared every day dishes she covered with a lid so they wouldn't be filled with flies. I prepared my 2nd big reportage on the opportunity of the UN mission on the island and the causes of the war just after a period when the city had been ravaged by civilian abductions. I wrote my reportage on paper illuminated by an oil lamp.
